# Shield

## What is Shield

Shields are a temporary period of safety from enemy attacks that comes from Battlefront game mode.

While under the protection of the shield, other players will not be able to attack your land.

But when you decide to attack another player, the shield will immediately expire.

At the start of the game, both the Shield feature and Battlefront game mode are locked until level of user profile reaches 6.

After the Battlefront game mode is unlocked, each player begins with a <mark style="color:red;">**12-hours**</mark> shield. After that shield expires.

&#x20;Additional shields are gained in one of two ways:

* Automatically after being the victim of a successful Raid
* Purchase with MAG<img src="/files/F43W20TdWlEEfAPfu1Fs" alt="" data-size="line">

## Automatic Shield

Shields are awarded under two criteria: at least 60% destruction must be done and at least one-third of a "full army" is deployed.

"Full army" is defined as the max number of possible deploying Mongen available.&#x20;

If either one of these criteria is not met, a shield will not be granted.

Depending on the percentage of the land destroyed, the shield time varies.

* At 60% destruction, a 15 minutes shield is awarded.
* At 80% destruction, a 30 minutes shield is awarded.
* At 100% destruction, a 45 minutes shield is awarded.
